Pets
Follow these instructions if you are using a digital camera or a 35mm.
A digital image could be as little as 700KB to 1MB if it is taken as close as one can get to the pet. A more distant shot should be over 2MB. If this is confusing, take a look at the visual samples below.
- Take your picture in the shade
- Take it as close to the pet as possible
- Take care to avoid sunny shadows falling over your pet. Do not take the picture in direct sun.
- Afternoons or early mornings are best as the light is soft, make sure the sun is behind you (or to the side) and not making your pet squint.
- Do not use a flash, it tends to white out the image. Taking your picture inside can be OK if you have enough natural light and as long as the flash is not used.
You can send one perfect picture with the composition the way you like it or send as many pictures as you want. I like very close shots of the pets face, so I can see eye color in addition to your favorite pose.
